The Read Settings window, here you can change the look and feel of your messages.

Mark message read after displaying for X seconds

eM Client tries to track which emails you have read and which you haven't by marking an email as "read" after it's been opened for a certain amount of time. Specify the amount of time in seconds after which you wish eM Client to mark the currently opened email as "read" in the numeric field.

Read all messages in plain text

Check this box if you wish to have all the incoming messages displayed in plain text format.

Always ask to allow showing unsafe content

Check this box to prevent possible unsafe contents such as links and pictures from being displayed. Generally it is recommended to leave this option checked.

Show envelope icon in tray when new message is received

Check this box to let eM Client will notify you of incoming email messages by displaying an envelope icon in the tray.

Show notification window when new message is received

Check this box to make eM Client display a notification when new emails are received. This is useful when you have eM Client minimized. This way you won't miss any important messages.

Show complete date and time in list of messages for today's messages

In the today's messages window, show emails' detailed time of arrival.

Preferred style

Set a style you wish to have your plain text emails to be displayed in.

Preferred font for messages

Click "Select" to choose a preferred font for your plain text emails to be displayed in.

Preferred text color

Click "Change" to choose a preferred text color for your plain text emails to be displayed in.

Preferred background color

Click "Change" to choose a preferred background color for your plain text emails to be displayed in.
